College Entrance Testing

PSAT - a practice for the SAT and a helpful tool to see where students need to build skills; most students will take the PSAT 1-2 times during school, in October of sophomore and/or junior year.

Test Optional Schools - since 2020, testing requirements have changed dramatically; this site contains a list of test-optional schools, but be sure to check your schools' testing requirements, including different requirements depending on intended major.

Taking the SAT and/or ACT can not hurt a student's prospects. Students may choose whether to send scores to their colleges.
