The school nurse is available if you are feeling physically ill or unwell during the school day. Her role includes, but is not limited to:

• Provides first aid care and health assessment

• Provides care and medication administration to students with special health care needs

• Provides screening and appropriate referrals for health conditions

• Coordinates with teachers and staff to ensure safety and well-being of students

• Assists families in accessing health care services and insurance

• Promotes overall mental and physical health and well-being
