SEL Featured at the NC State Board of EdUCATION

The August State Board of Education Meeting featured Teri Putnam presenting about Social Emotional Learning Implementation in North Carolina. Teri joined a team including representatives from the Division of Integrated Academic and Behavior Systems and the Exceptional Children Division of NCDPI.

Social Emotional Learning During Covid-19

While students are staying home, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is especially important now more than ever. Today we look at the mental health needs that many kids may be facing at home right now and ways to support social emotional learning from a distance.

The April 2nd episode of Education Matters: Supporting the Needs of Student Mental Health Part 2 references NC Project AWARE/ACTIVATE.
