CMS will be using the behavior matrix below during the 2023-2024 school year.
Scientist of the Month:
Doing what you are expected to do: hard work, consistent effort, good behavior. Recognized on wall, praise, parent note, & prize.Spin the Wheel: Randomly your teacher will spin the wheel. If no discipline or effort issues in class today & your seat number is spun, you will earn a ticket or prize.
Tickets: Given for doing the right thing, good scores, a positive attitude, or winning class competitions. Drawn 1x/month for prizes.
Other Rewards will be given throughout the year.
Students should be making an A, B, or C at all times. Anyone below a C is NOT doing what is expected of them. Studying is essential to doing well in 8th science! We will move at a rapid pace to prepare for the EOG. If you get behind or need tutoring, it is offered Wednesdays till 4pm. You must sign up by Tuesday PM.
