Elementary Education will support these goals by:
Increasing the percentage of third grade students who meet or exceed grade-level expectations each year.
Increase the capacity of teachers and instructional assistants to deliver effective instruction to fill student learning gaps.
Support advanced phonics instruction in upper grade levels.
Strengthen effective implementation of phonics instruction in Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
Provide support to instructional leaders through content and data analysis.
Increase math proficiency in all grade levels by 3% annually.
