CHROMEBOOK USER AGREEMENT
Parents, please read this 1:1 Handbook. There is a Chromebook agreement at the bottom of this handout. Your child will be reading and signing this in homeroom. If for any reason, you are unwilling to agree to these terms, please email Angela McKee at aumckee@clevelandcountyschools.org.
Free and reduced Lunch
USDA has extended free breakfast and lunch meals for all students through June 2022. However, your cafeteria manager will have limited paper copies of free and reduced applications. Please encourage families to apply online at www.lunchapplication.com . By completing an application, this provides many services for families beyond meals at school:
Discount for internet services
Qualify for potential P-EBT funds
Waive cost of ACT, SAT, AP, and other tests
Provide discounts for the college application process

Fill out the COPPA information:
COPPA provides parents with certain rights and control over the information collected online from children under the age of 13. Before students (under the age of 13) may provide their name, email address, or other information online, parents must give permission for students to use the online website. Below is a list of websites used educationally for student projects where a student’s name, email address, etc., may be released to a website to set up an online space to complete assignments. Some educational resources required parental permission for anyone under 18 years of age.
Frequently Used Websites Requiring COPPA Consent:
Google includes GSuite for Education (www.google.com) - An online word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation software used to create, store, and share files. Includes as well as Google applications such as Calendar, YouTube, Maps, Classroom, etc.
Canvas (www.instructure.com) - A learning management system used to share work and files with teachers and classmates.
RenLearn Suite - (www.renaissance.com) - An online solution used to manage and monitor children’s independent reading and math practice.
