The textbook that we use in school is:
● WJEC Level 3 Applied Certificate & Diploma Criminology
Textbooks are not mandatory but we encourage all students to have their own personal copy of the book to support you during your private study periods and at home for revision. The department has textbooks which are available for you to use at school when required.

If you haven’t already, download a news app to your phone. To study Criminology you must be aware of the news in regards to crime and use your knowledge of contemporary news examples in your work/class discussions. We recommend the Guardian News app or the BBC News app.
Be Prepared
As a sixth form student you are required to develop the skills of independent learning. You will need to do a minimum of 4 hours a week of private study for the best chance of success.
