Chase Folwell has been trying to be accepted into the CCCT family for years now, but being type casted as the pretty boy and rumors about his love life made that difficult. Then the pandemic hit which became a struggle for actors everywhere. Thomas, the director, thought a well put together play would lift the spirits of the theatre world, but he needed a strong, respected actor to portray the part of Mr. Selznick. That man...dropped out of the play a few months back. After Thomas' second, third, and fourth choice fell through due to time constraints Chase gladly took on the challenge. This is their story.
Brian Treybig plays the successful writer Ben Hecht in this insanely true story of the making of Gone with the Wind. He enjoys playing people from real life including Max Prince from the play, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, in which the character is loosely based on Sid Caesar. His favorite character to play is Sherlock Holmes, which he has portrayed three times. Other characters that he loved was Leo Bloom in The Producers and Renfield in Dracula. Brian is thrilled to have worked with great friends in this CCCT production including his lovely wife Kristina. It has been quite a run getting this show off the ground. Long hours, tired days, but a great crew. We hope you enjoy the effort that has been put into this ridiculous funny play. Stay safe. Be excellent to each other and party on!

Favorite past CCCT productions include Murder's Bad But Monday Can Kill You and Cole Porter's You Never Know. He has also been seen in Born Yesterday, The Sound of Music, Putting It Together and The Ragman, which was performed in Paris, France. Steven has also served as a director for CCCT productions such as Into the Woods, Legally Blonde: the Musical, and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] and Sweeney Todd.
Kristina has been on stage and behind the scenes in the theatre world for the past 20 years. Each show is a new, exciting, fun experience. This is my 1st show working with Thomas Meek and I have learned so very much from his style in direction and his commitment and motivation in putting a show together.
Theatre has always been my favorite outlet and place to meet wonderful people. Obviously, during a pandemic that becomes more of a challenge. However, it did not diminish the joy and fun we had getting this show put together for you.
Thank you all so much for joining us and laughing along with us, albeit from the safety of your own home. May you and yours continue to be filled with love, joy, happiness, family, and friends. For those are the greatest gifts in our lives.
