You MUST use the Chrome Browser for the best 2-way video/sound functionality of the site. (Firefox is OK, but nothing else).
You must allow the Chrome Browser and Hopin access to your computer's Camera and Microphone, in order to speak or show your webcam within the platform.
If there are any glitches, refreshing the browser window does tend to help, especially if any changes have been made.
If you are hearing an "echo" or 10-20 second delay and duplicated audio, you may have multiple Hopin tabs open. Please try to only have one single Hopin tab or window open at a time.
Keep an eye out for little red dots next to the menu items in the right-hand column of the page, it could mean someone is trying to get in touch with you and has sent you a message.
We have also compiled a list of useful tips for those users new to Hopin, and they can be found by clicking here: Ryan's Hopin Tips
Hopin provides useful Tutorials and Tips about how to best use the Platform, both as an attendee, and from other user perspectives. If you want a more thorough run-down of the suggestions from Hopin, please click here: https://support.hopin.to/en/collections/1945014-using-hopin-as-an-attendee
Additionally, if you continue to have issues with Hopin, or questions about how to use it most effectively, please come to the "CTO Help Desk" Booth within the Hopin Expo, or send Ryan Hoover an email at rhoover@cleantechopen.org
We look forward to seeing you there!
