About me
My first year of teaching High School was the 2013-2014 School year, here at CVCHS. I'm still here - and I plan to be until I retire (*Fingers Crossed!!!*)
I grew up in a very small town in Northern Idaho, but I moved to California to start college in 2004. I received an Associate’s Degree in Science, Math, and Engineering from De Anza Community College. I went on to get a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
I also did several years of Graduate Research in Planetary Science and received a Master of Science Degree in Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
I am a member of the Cave Research Foundation, and have mapped parts of California's longest Cave.
I am also an Astronomy hobbyist, have 4 telescopes, and have made trips to view several solar eclipses.
