Fall has to be one of my personal favorite parts of the school year. To me, it represents the start of something new. It brings new opportunities, new experiences, new challenges, and new hurdles to overcome. This sense of something new is not always positive. Some people aren't ready to go through new seasons of their life and are stuck in one place, unwilling to let go. However, changes are inevitable. You won't be the same person for your whole life. You will go through things that change who you are as a person, both good and bad. The start of a new school year is perfect for this. This is your opportunity to reinvent yourself in the way that you want, regardless of what others think. If I have one piece of advice for this upcoming school year it would be this:
Get ready to turn over a new leaf!
What's Good! I am super excited to begin this school year with a brand new set of submissions from our fellow students. As we transition from the warm climates of summer to the cool winter, we look forward to receiving new works that capture the essence of fall. Fall to me is the season of change and with that comes brand new emotions and feelings as people transition into a new chapter of their life. As you read this new issue, I hope you experience the themes of fall and the feelings of warmth that comes with them. Enjoy!
