This month’s submission theme was ‘The Spirit of Us: Traditions and Cultures’; a theme that would be able to suit the holidays revolving around us and the interesting cultures that are being celebrated.
When I was a child, I probably only had four Thanksgiving gatherings in total. I never had the kind of traditional plating of food or the portion of the meal where you'd spread kind words to your loved ones. I'm so happy to be able to see the sweet poems of autumn and the delicious recipes made during Thanksgiving. The creativity that resides in all of us is shining beautifully through the magazine, and I cannot thank you all enough for your hard work.
It is with great pleasure and honour that I write this letter to introduce the second edition of C.A.W. Magazine. This magazine is, by all accounts, intended to lead the way for CV's aspiring writers and artists.
Ah, the holidays. What's not to love? Other than the chaos of running around, looking for whatever weird thing your cousin asked for, or some food your grandma likes and that you've never heard of. This month's theme, Spirit of Us: Traditions and Culture celebrates all sides of the holidays, good and bad, from all cultures.
We love your submissions to the magazine and hope to see more of them in the future!
