1. Can I get a copy of my diploma?
There are no copies made of the original diploma awarded at graduation. However, a certified copy of your high school transcript may be obtained from the Clayton Ridge High School office at P.O Box 520, 131 South River Park Drive, Guttenberg, IA 52052 (563-252-2341). This will list all classes taken, all semester grades received and, in the case of graduation, will state your graduation date. A certified transcript is proof of high school attendance / graduation. Each copy will have a raised Clayton Ridge Community School District seal and is considered an “official” or “certified” copy.
2. Is there a charge for a certified/official copy of my transcript of grades?
Currently, there is no fee. This is subject to change by order of the Clayton Ridge Community School District Board of Education.
3. Who may release my record?
Either the former student or a parent/guardian (if under the age of 18) must provide a written release before a copy can be obtained or mailed.
4. Will a copy of my transcript of grades also have my ACT or SAT scores?
The Clayton Ridge Community School District is not the official keeper of your ACT or SAT scores. If you indicated at the time the test was taken that the test scores should be mailed to Clayton Ridge Community Schools your official transcript will reflect these test scores. If not, ACT may be reached at 319.337.1364 and SAT may be reached at 866.756.7346.
5. Can I just call and get my ACT or SAT scores, cumulative grade point average, or rank in class verbally?
ACT / SAT scores, grade point average nor rank in class will be released without the written permission of the former student. You may fax a written release to 563-252-2656 granting permission to verbally release this information to you, then call 563-252-2341 and ask for Julie Hansel.
6. OK, now how do I obtain a copy of my transcript of grades?
