SCHOOL COUNSELING

Mission

The mission of the Clayton Ridge Community School’s Comprehensive School Counseling Program is to enhance each student’s academic, career, and personal/social development to become responsible learners, conscientious decision makers, and contributing members of our society.  School counselors are professional school advocates who provide support to maximize student potential and academic achievement.  In partnership with other educators, parents/guardians, and the community, school counselors facilitate the support system to ensure all students at Clayton Ridge Community School District have access to and are prepared with the knowledge and skills to perform at the highest level.

Belief Statements

We believe all students have individual abilities and are capable of learning with support from family, community, and educators.

We also believe all students have the right to be treated with dignity and respect and learn in a safe, supportive environment.
