All About Me:
I'm Dr. Logan, and as I tell all of the Kindergarten students when I visit their classroom for the first time, I have the best job in the entire school! I tell them that all I have to do is help kids and make sure they are o.k. Although my job is a bit more complicated than that, I do consider taking care of kids to be the most important part of my job.
I have been a Professional School Counselor for about 20 years. I came into education because I know that it is one of the few things that can truly change the course of someone's life. It is important to me that I help parents and students understand the value of education and help them take advantage of all that public schools have to offer.
Through the school counseling department, a variety of services are offered to students and parents. I will teach lessons in your child's classroom with a focus on academic growth, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and career awareness. In addition, I will provide small group counseling services focusing on a variety of topics including social and academic skills. Finally, I am also available to meet with students on an individual to assist with their specific needs. as recommended by either teachers or parents.
I always look forward to working with parents! I am available to discuss any issues that may impact your child academically or socially. Please contact me if there are any supports you or your child may need, if you need assistance in communicating with your child's teacher, or if there is any other way that I may be able to help!

The mission of the comprehensive school counseling program of Morrow Elementary school is to contribute to a safe learning environment for all students where academic and personal growth can occur while ensuring that students have the skills to become self-directed, life-long learners who possess the necessary skills to compete successfully in a global society.
The vision of the school counseling program of Morrow Elementary is to offer a comprehensive program that supports the developmental and academic needs of every student. This will be accomplished via direct services to students delivered by a certified school counselor. Through this program, students will have access to the core curriculum and other resources as needed. Parents will be supported and empowered as they work in concert with the school to meet student needs.
All children have the ability to learn and can experience academic and social/emotional growth when provided with the necessary support.
Students will benefit from being involved in a comprehensive school counseling curriculum which is delivered by a certified school counselor.
Every child deserves to have a safe learning environment where they will be treated with dignity and respect.
Parental involvement is an essential component of academic success. Therefore communication between home and school is critical. We must provide information, support, and resources to assist parents we work together toward children’s academic success.
