CCPS students are able to learn world languages in the specials and connections classes as well as core content in high school.  The county is truly committed to preparing our students to take on an increasingly globally competitive world in which it is critical for students to show proficiency in a language other than English and to embrace intercultural competence.  

Through language classes, our students are able to demonstrate a respect, curiosity and appreciation for the languages and culture of people across the world.  This competition will allow students to receive recognition for their proficiency and hard work in those language courses whether they are in elementary, middle or high school programs.
