School Based Health Clinic Groundbreaking!
Claymont City Schools, in collaboration with Aultman Health Foundation, is excited to announce the groundbreaking of the new Aultman Claymont Health Center at Claymont High School. This groundbreaking marks a significant milestone of Governor DeWine’s Appalachian Children’s Health Initiative, supported by the Appalachian Community Grant Program in partnership with the Appalachian Children Coalition and Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
The groundbreaking ceremony will be on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. This will celebrate the start of our journey to build a health center that will serve students, staff, and the broader community.

There are still plenty of opportunities to earn scholarships. Seniors should be checking the wall in the guidance office for scholarship opportunities. Some deadlines have passed and others are fast approaching. Online these scholarships can be found at this link. You can't be awarded money if you don't apply!
We are implementing a few important changes to CCP classes for next year. Please read this CCP document carefully and if you have any questions, please call the high school counseling office. The students were made aware of these changes and deadlines at a meeting a few weeks ago. They also all received a copy of this letter.
Intent Forms are due to Mrs. Crone or Mrs. Trimmer by April 1st to participate in CCP during the Fall 2025 semester. If the Intent Form is not submitted by April 1st, students will not be allowed to participate until the Spring 2026 semester.
See Mrs. Trimmer to purchase Prom tickets. They are $25 the month of March and increase to $35 a piece in April.
