You will receive your individual timetable via your tutor.
Please check it carefully and speak to the exams officer regarding any concerns.
Know the dates and times of all your examinations.
Stick the timetable into your planner - take note of whether the exam is in the morning or afternoon.
Failure to attend any examinations without sound reason will result in the student being charged.
You must wear your usual school uniform adhering to the school dress code. Failure to do so will result in students being charged for invigilation.

Morning exams start at 9:15
Afternoon exams start at 13:30
You need to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the exam.
You must make sure that you are at school in time for your exams.
All exams require writing in Black biro (no gel pens). Blue is not accepted by the exam boards.
All candidates are responsible for bringing the correct, fully working equipment for the exam.
As each exam may require different equipment (pencil, calculator, etc...) you will need to check with your subject teacher as to what is required.
Use a clear plastic pencil case.
If you are unwell on the day or have been the night before, inform the Exams Office or the invigilator on arrival.
If you are unable to attend due to a serious illness you must contact the school immediately, making sure that they are aware you are due to sit an exam.
Obtain a letter from your doctor and bring it to the Exams Office within 3 days.
Failure to provide medical evidence will result in the student being charged.
Don't panic, stay safe.
Make sure you leave a message for the exams office on 01424 772155, or speak to the receptionist.
Give details of your current situation and your estimated time of arrival if you know it.
Ensure that you have no communication which could breach (or could be seen as a breach of ) the security of the examination. Your phone may be checked on arrival.
Arrive safely as quickly as possible.
When you arrive please report to the exams officer.
No. Do not take into the examination room any unauthorised materials of equipment. This includes notes or paper of any kind, calculator cases / instruction leaflets, personal TVs / stereos, digital equipment including wrist watches, iwatches, reading pens, electronic or radio communication devices, including mobile telephones, iPods, MP3 / 4 players and pagers.
We do not allow food into the examination room without prior approval from Mr Swatton. You may bring a drink of water, however it must be in a clear plastic bottle only with the label removed (no glass or plastic cup).
Bottled water should be kept under your desk.
Exam regulations apply as soon as you enter the exam room.
Do not communicate in any way with any other candidate to avoid any disqualification.
You must not ask for, nor will you be given, any explanation of the questions. If you require additional paper, or are feeling unwell, raise your hand.
At the end of the exam your must remain seated in silence and only move after direction from the invigilator.
