Abstract: in my project I researched about the micro world in my dog's hair. For this, I observed my dog with a magnifying glass looking at her hair and seeing what is in it. I took pictures and made many drawings to represent the micro world.

Abstract: I chose this experiment to show that wind energy can be easily transformed into electrical energy. It shows that wind energy can be transformed and used efficiently for lighting with low consumption elements. This type of system can be the solution for some communities that do not have electrical networks and are located in areas with a lot of wind.

Abstract: During my investigation I learned an oxidation-reduction (redox) reaction is an electrontransfer reaction. The species that loses electrons is oxidized and the species that gains them is reduced. The species that gives up the electrons and the oxidant to which it captures them is called reducing.

Abstract: I liked the topic of oxidation because it is very interesting, and I wanted to see how the grape and banana were changing over the time. So, I decided to research fruit observation and I learned this process depends on the weather. After 8 days the banana had black spots and the grape was in its last stage and in the last days the banana turned black, and the grape was already decomposed. It is important to know that the hotter the weather, the faster the oxidation occurs.

Abstract: My Expociencia project is flower Pichon. investigated it because the flower pichon is red and that is my favorite colour. The flower pichon is red with a daisy- shape yellow inside. If you put it in a book and close it, the flower becomes dark and the daisy falls.

Abstract: The banana has no chemical ions and when the cells are open to oxygen on the air chemical reacts in a way that made the banana changes color to brown. I found there are three ways to find the oxidation process: banana in the refrigerator; banana in a resealable plastic bag; squeeze lemon on the banana.

Abstract: At the end of the life of a fruit, vegetable or other organisms, mold grows and it spreads very fast. I decided to investigate and research the evolution of mold. To prepare the mold I used a Petri Dish and agar. In the first days the Petri dish has a small black point, and then, as days passed, the mold extended completely in the Petri dish. Then, I took photos and watched the different types of mold.

Abstract: My Expociencia project tries to investigate a bouquet of flowers, plants and an apple up close, I will observe the bouquet of flowers and the apple over time to see their changes, while with plants I will investigate how they look up close, fungi, changes and else. In the end I saw several changes in the apple and the bouquet of flowers, when investigating the plants I saw that the plants have a little strange textures up close.

Abstract: Our Expociencia project is about what happens to fruits and milk when they are exposed to day light. This project is interesting to us because we want to know about the decomposition process of apple, banana, and milk. We investigated about it and found that it was a chemical interaction between polifenol oxidasa and the air and the milk curdled for same reason.

Abstract: Ants are hypersocial insects, they can build their colonies under the ground, sand modules and in trees, their hierarchy is composed of: workers, soldiers, queen, males, the colonies are very organized and everyone knows the work they must realize, the queen has a life span of approximately 30 years, a colony without the queen possibly disappears, if it is not replaced, extremely large colonies are known, the largest was 6,000 kl that linked Italy with the north of Spain, there are approximately 9,000 species of ants.

Abstract: Our Expociencia project is about the decomposition of an apple. With the camera of our cellphones we took a picture every two days to observe its changes. The consistency became soft, the color changed and it matured.

Abstract: My Expociencia project is about observing the changes in bread across the time. For this I took a piece of it and put it in a container to get moisture. Every two days I took a photo with my cell phone and looked at it with the magnifying glass to observe the chemical changes of the bread. At the end the changes on the bread were more evident, it was rotting and had mold. We can conclude that when food comes into contact with air and humidity for several days it loses its nutrients its qualities and becomes toxic for human consumption.
