We gather together as a community to begin our day with group prayer, the pledge to American flag, Scripture Memory, and Musical Enrichment through singing hymns and the Doxology, reviewing Timeline together, introducing Latin, Math, English Memory Work, celebrating birthdays. We value this time together to build community and focus our day on the Creator God.

Enrichment through studying the methods and masters of history, focusing not on the end product, but rather a willingness to be stretched and learn to appreciate art and its ties to other subjects through observation, instruction, and projects using shared resources and engaging in hands-on study of technique, history and various mediums.

Enrichment through the study of music theory with age appropriate activities and musical instruments. We will look at famous composers and musical pieces to apply our theoretical knowledge and develop an appreciation for great music while tying into our history and geography. We will explore world music while we learn about cultures, unusual instrumentation and styles from around the globe. A study of the hymns we are learning together finishes the course of study.

Lower Elementary children will be listening to beloved picture books and learning to respectfully narrate and discuss thoughts in a group setting. This is in preparation for future Socratic discussions. We work to support and encourage intellectual diversity by practicing the pursuit of gaining insight from each other and sharing knowledge in fellowship according to different abilities and giftings in the Body of Christ.
