Why We Came Together
Neighbors and partners gathered to talk about how we can better support our students—especially those transitioning from 5th to 6th grade—and how we can continue caring for and strengthening our neighborhood. People shared a strong desire to connect, work together, and build on existing relationships within the community, including those through WeCanDoThis.
What Makes Us Proud of Our Neighborhood
Participants shared appreciation for how people come together, even when outside support is limited. There is pride in the many activities offered by the PTO, the strong support shown to kids through the school, and the welcoming, inclusive feel of the neighborhood.
