Practice Expectations
With the exception of student athletes who are only competing in shot put, all athletes are expected to attend practice daily. Shot put only athletes should only attend practice on the dates designated for shot put on the schedule. Athletes participating in distance, sprints, or multiple events are expected to attend all scheduled practices.
Absences & Conflicts
Although we expect athletes to attend practice daily, we understand there may be conflicts with other activities. If your student athlete will miss all or part of practice, please complete the Google Form HERE or go to LPS.org and type OGPC into the keyword search bar in the top right hand corner. This will communicate the absence directly to the coaches. This form should also be used for last minute absences due to illness or any other circumstance. If you have previously communicated an absence to me via email, there is no need to complete this form.
*Athletes will need to listen to and communicate with the coaches for which days they have practice. Some field events may NOT practice daily.
