Mrs. Herringer teaches Court Choir, Royal Court, Ars Nova, Countesses & Noblemen, and Singing Knights. Mrs. Herringer spent her first two years teaching 6-8 vocal music in Millard and was excited to return to LSE in 2022 after completing her student teaching here in 2019! In addition to her time in Millard, Mrs. Herringer has been fortunate to assist with Bellevue East high school show choir, and has choreographed many choirs and show choirs in Nebraska.
Mrs. Herringer grew up in Bellevue, Nebraska and is a proud alum of Doane University. Go tigers! She and her husband, Luke, welcomed their sweet baby, Sutton, in April! Outside of teaching music, Mrs. Herringer enjoys trying new restaurants, attending group fitness classes, shopping, and spending time with friends, family, and her french bulldog, Millie.

1. What do you like to do when you aren't working?
I love cooking for my husband, kids, and extended family. To decompress, I go for walks and spend time outdoors with my two labs, Remi and Izzy.
2. Favorite Song or Artist?
I love the Eagles. Everyone should listen to their best version of “Hotel California,” from Live on MTV in 1994.
3. Favorite Movie?
I love Christmas, so my favorite movies are usually holiday movies such as “Elf,” “Christmas Vacation,” and, this is controversial, “Die Hard.” I watch these, and more, every December.
4. If you could pick any other job or career what would you pick?
Homicide Detective or Bed and Breakfast owner.

1. What do you like to do when you aren't working?
Sleeping as much as possible and being home with my cats and electronic devices. I also like to play games and eat snacks with my family.
2. Favorite Song or Artist?
I'm a lifelong fan of the Beatles. My current group obsession is a Canadian band called Walk Off the Earth, who often use nontraditional instruments along with interesting and creative vocal arrangements.
3. Favorite Movie?
I go back pretty regularly to the Masterpiece Theater miniseries version of "Pride and Prejudice".
4. If you could pick any other job or career what would you pick?
I always say if I had to start a second career, I would train to be an electrician. It's interesting and skilled work, pays well, and is always in high demand. Although, piano tuners tend to be in high demand as well, and that seems less dangerous.
Brynna is the accompanist for Black and Gold and is honored to be a part of the vocal music team here at LSE. Born and raised in central coast CA, she moved to Nebraska right after high school to attend UNL on a music and academic scholarship, and quickly found peace in the Midwest. As a teen, she performed all over Monterey county, took composition and recording lessons in San Francisco, and her first job was accompanying a vocal music teacher for private lessons and weddings.
She recently celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary and is the proud mother of 4 children + 1 daughter in law. As life directed, she spent many years in the real estate industry and custom apparel business, but in 2023, she gave up wedding dresses and contracts to work at LPS and is blessed to have come full circle, right back to where she originally started 30 years ago.
1. What do you like to do when you aren't working?
I love to read, paint, reupholster and refinish old furniture, sew, nap, and work in my garden.
2. Favorite Song or Artist?
My favorite song is “The Call” by Regina Spektor. I heard it for the first time in the movie “Prince Caspian”, and it quite literally broke me, but in a good way. The message is sweet, profound, tragic, yet hopeful. My kids have been tasked with playing it at my funeral.
3. Favorite Movie?
Rudy. Though on a lazy day, one of the Harry Potter movies is always on TV and I can’t resist.
4. If you could pick any other job or career what would you pick?
I’ve always wanted to own a B & B in the country with a library. A place of retreat, rest, privacy, and of course, a good book for company. I’m actually studying to become a librarian (did you know you have to go to school for it?!) and am anxious for the universe to give me the opportunity to share my love of learning with others.
