About: Ars Nova is a small choir, which requires each member to be an exceptionally strong and independent musician. They often perform with microphones and an instrumental combo.

Performance Opportunities: Many community performances, especially during December. Three major concerts at school. Sometimes travels to swing choir festivals.
About: C&N is technically a "swing choir", but they actually sing a variety of music styles, adding movement to visually enhance the music. Members must dance well and be especially personable on stage, in addition to having strong voices.

Performance Opportunities: Three major concerts at school, collaborative concerts with other schools/guest clinicians, and District Music Contest in the spring. Some community performances, especially in December. Sings at an LSE Honors Convocation every year.
About: Court Choir is LSE's varsity mixed concert choir. Many of its members are also in small groups, and emphasis is placed on discipline and excellence of musicianship. Court Choir members have extreme pride in their group, and form close relationships in the choir.

About: Black and Gold is a non-select choir open to any student who is interested in singing and music, but who wants a less competitive choir structure with more emphasis on learning and less on performing. Black and Gold will perform on at least two concerts each year and provides other opportunities throughout the year.

About: Knight Sounds is a sophomore select choir. Emphasis is on developing skills in music and vitality in performance.

Performance Opportunities: Many community performances, especially in December. Three major concerts at school, and either Small ensemble Festival or District Music Contest in the Spring. Performs at LSE Honors Convocation once a year. Travel opportunities every few years.
About: Royal Court is LSE's only all treble choir. Members have a unique opportunity to focus on the treble voice, focusing on excellence in musicianship and performance. Royal Court members often form very close friendships within the choir.

Performance Opportunities: 1-3 community performances throughout the year. Four major concerts at school, including a "freshman showcase" concert in the spring.
About: Singing Knights is the only choir for freshman, and is open to all who want a fulfilling musical experience. Members are introduced to all styles of music that they may encounter during the rest of their high school careers (and beyond). Emphasis is on developing musical skills and introducing students to the pleasure of making music with their friends. Most, if not all, members will find places in select groups throughout their high school years.
