This year, we wanted to do something a little less thematic, and a little more elegant. We chose this song because of the beautiful lyrics, Alex's smooth vocals, and the deeper meaning behind the entire piece. Alex Warren lost both of his parents when he was young, and this song is an incredible tribute to them both. We wanted to make sure we brought the elegance and beauty that this song was meant to portray.

We also extended our reach by inviting students from neighboring schools to be a part of the Standing Bear HS Winter Guard. Our unit included 4 students from LSB, 5 from LSW, 2 from Moore MS, and 1 from East HS. This great group of students meshed together well and quickly bonded, forming friendships that will last beyond the 2026 season.
