Superman

Our first season at Standing Bear was a year of learning. The majority of our students were completely new to high school and marching band! We did have a few veteran sophomores in the band to lead the charge, but the colorguard consisted of 3 freshmen who had never marched or spun a flag before this year! Addy Lefler, Ella Buckendahl, and Hailey Scott were up to the challenge of learning how to dance, march, spin and toss a flag, all at the same time! They all caught on to the basic moves and positions quickly, and performed like professionals! The band performed 2 songs, Man of Steel and the Superman theme song. The colorguard got a Superior rating at NSBA!
