LNS cheerleading has brought me so many amazing experiences and friendships that will last forever! Starting as a freshman, I was scared of being on the Reserve team and that the older girls wouldn't like me or accept me. However, it was the exact opposite. I made friends with all of my teammates and made connections really fast!! I had never been good at making friends, so being able to grow so many more friendships within my freshman year was amazing, and I can't thank North Star Cheer more.
Going to camp over the years has given me the best and worst experiences. Camp has always been such a fun bonding and learning moment for all cheerleaders, and I have always looked forward to it. However, being a senior and having to experience your last camp with your best friends hurts more than you think it would.
I can't imagine my life without LNS cheer and I thank all of the cheerleaders and coaches for making these 4 years with the program so fun and worth it! Cheer has always been my passion and I thank North Star cheer for letting me continue with that through my high school career!!

Being a part of LNS Cheer has brought me many opportunities to spread school spirit. Along with getting involved at the school, it has brought me many friendships that will last a lifetime! Cheerleading has given me confidence and life skills that everybody should have, like time management, teamwork, and problem solving.

I have been cheering for Lincoln North Star cheerleading since my freshman year, and have always LOVED it! I have met some of my best friends and friends from all backgrounds. I love being able to share laughs and joy with each of my teammates. The coaches are also AMAZING and are always pushing you to exceed your goals and be the best you can be!
I always have enjoyed being able to cheer on my peers at basketball, volleyball, and football games. I enjoy getting out there and spreading positive energy and spirit around North Star! GO GATORS!!!

Being a part of the LNS cheer program was truly an honor. My favorite part was being surrounded by people who had the same love and passion for cheerleading. Being able to succeed, work hard, and learn from our mistakes together was, honestly, so fun.
The biggest life lesson I learned from being a part of this program was to always cherish the moments. I know that sounds cliche, but I wish I had the opportunity to cheer at one more game, experience cheer camp one more time, or even be able to bond with my fellow teammates just one more time.
My 4 years at LNS taught me how to be a better leader, friend, motivator, and, most importantly, a better human being. I am so grateful!

Cheerleading that me that time flies. You need to live in the moment and enjoy every second. Don’t waste your time worrying about irrelevant things. LNS Cheer has influenced my life because it taught me to always work hard and to lean on my teammates.
The funniest thing I remember from LNS Cheer would probably be the night at camp when there was a spider in my shower. Everything was so chaotic!
My most heart-warming memory is definitely each year during Cheerios when all the little cheerleaders work so hard and look up to us, it’s amazing!
Cheer has taught me so many things. By far the biggest thing was the benefits of stepping our of my comfort zone! Being a cheerleader gave me endless opportunities to grow as a person. It has also taught me to lead by example, because you truly never know who could be watching and looking up to you.
Being a member of LNS Cheer helped me to learn how to grow as a leader and friend. Cheer is time consuming, but they are some of the best times spent with really awesome people.
LNS Cheer gave me some of really close friends and helped to be involved in my school community.
