Ashley Downey

Head Varsity Coach

Coach Caudill has been with the program since 2023. She has an extensive background in cheer and does a great job coaching athletes through new skills.

Ashley teaches English Language Learners at North Star High School and enjoys meeting new students from all over the globe.

Outside of teaching, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching new movies, and cuddling her cat, Ella.

She loves coaching because of the bonds you create through such a positive, uplifting sport. 

Hailey Oaks

Junior Varsity Coach

Coach Oaks has nearly 10 years of cheer experience, both as a cheerleader all through high school as well as being a coach. 

She is an HR Business Partner with DHHS and loves getting to work with all kinds of people and help support them in successfully serving our citizens. 

Outside of working, she's a mom of two and married to her high school sweetheart. They spend their days at dance competitions, getting together with friends and family and she'll never turn down a chance to go horseback riding! 

She loves being a cheer coach because it gives her an opportunity to share the sport she loves and build meaningful connections with the athletes she gets to work with. 

Liz Kontor

Reserve Coach

Coach Kontor has been with the program since 2010.  She enjoys seeing her cheerleaders progress throughout the program, from their freshman through senior years.

Liz chairs the Special Education department at LNS.  She loves seeing the joy on all of her students' faces all they grow each day.

In her free time she likes to craft, bake, and spend time with family and friends.

Liz coaches because she enjoys getting to know and spending time with the cheerleaders, she loves promoting school spirit, and she has a passion for all things cheer.
