Parental - Guardian Expectations

Parent & Spectator Responsibilities

Parents & guardians who do not adhere to #1-8 will jeopardize a players ability to participate & play time

1. Provide a positive and supportive atmosphere ON (SIDELINES) and OFF (AT HOME)

2. Be encouraging & supportive - well done - great job - goes along way & if followed by silence, will on occasion result in your teenage son providing an unsolicited perspective of the game, how he played etc..

3. Be respectful and supportive to all team and school personnel.

4. Volunteer at team functions. Parent participation is needed in order to run a successful program.

5. Accept the decision of the officials - Referee’s very rarely (NEVER) change their mind..

6. Refrain from using profane or disrespectful language when addressing players, coaches & officials

7. Refrain from planning vacations and family trips during times when players will miss practices or games

8. Help, guide & teach our athletes to advocate for themselves & to have open communication
