If a parent asks for a meeting and a player/coach meeting hasn't happened, a meeting will not occur.
Players will be asked to be part of the meetings and no coach contact will occur without a player knowing
Coaches will not entertain playing time conversations with parents. We ask that you encourage your child to have a conversation with their coach.
It is important for parents to separate their child's sports development from game emotions. For this reason, we adopted the "24 Hour Rule" which simply states that coaches will not discuss a game or situation in a game until at least 24 hours before or after the fact. There will also be no contact on weekends.
Off-Season
We will be having strength and conditioning during the off season. If you are in a winter or spring sport you will not attend these sessions. Strength and conditioning during the off season is essential for reaching our goals during the season and prepares us for the practices, games and tournaments to come. It gives athletes an opportunity to increase speed, strength, agility and reaction time Attendance is vital to our team culture and helps to build community and comradery within our program.
Lettering
Athletes that compete in 75% of varsity matches will receive a varsity letter at the end of the season. If the 75% is not met, it will be up to the coach on whether a letter is received.
