What's MXBE mean?
MXBE is the jump code you put in the search bar of LPS.org to take you straight to the Google Form used to submit your work for Istoria.
What do I submit?
At Istoria, we want to hear your voice. The magazine is designed to be an outlet for the students of North Star to share their stories. We accept multiple forms of original art: music, cosmetic art, short stories, poems, photography, painting, plays, robotics, graphic design, and more!
What's this year's theme?
The theme for the 2025-26 school year is "The Adventure Awaits!" Consider ideas of travel, global perspectives, doing something out of the ordinary, or something just plain adventurous when thinking about our theme.
How old is Istoria?
Istoria was started 22 years ago, back in the 2004/2005 school year. However, this past school year marks our 21st edition, despite being the 22nd year. This is due to work being cut short in 2020, after the COVID-19 pandemic interfered.
Who runs Istoria?
Istoria is run by students! We assemble every Tuesday after school in B213 and are taught by Ms. Hill, our current advisor.
