CLASS PROCEDURES
Each grade level should enter the room when invited in and calmly and quietly walk to their space. Depending on the grade level, students may either sit in their chairs and begin tasks as assigned, or place their chromebook at their table space and find their number spot on the floor before instruction begins.
Each student is assigned a seat (see Seating Charts on the clip board). This seating chart is also used for attendance and recording daily effort/work grades. LPS uses a 1, 2, 3, and 4 grading system for elementary. Please mark as you see fit.
4 - Exceptional effort and work -- great listener -- helper to others -- early finisher with all work correct
3 - District "standard" -- good listener -- helper to others -- needs minimal assistance
2 - Needing redirects (1 or 2 times) for minor behavior
Emergency protocol and homeroom/office phone numbers are posted above the phone by the front door.
At Wysong, we follow these four rules in all areas.
If you have students who are exceptional, or need more than a few reminders, please leave me a note with name, class, and short description of the situation.
If a student(s) does exceptionally well, feel free to hand them a Wysong Wow. These are found in the blue pencil/storage bin on my teacher desk.
