COMPOSTING AT WHITTEN FAMILY FARM
The Whitten Family Farm will be using an aerated windrow composting technique. This means that the piles of compost will be manually aerated or turned.
The farm will be constructing a building in which the composting process will occur. The facility will start with 2 to 3 cubic yards of compost, however, the new building will be able to support 12 cubic yards of compost.
