Uploading a Google Doc to a website- While using a Chromebook (or Google Drive on a computer) you may find it necessary to upload a file to a website. For example, you may need to submit a form for an application to a workshop, a transcript to a school, or a photo for your profile on social media. Most sites do not provide a means to browse your Google Drive to find a file. So what can you do???
Go to your Google Drive and find the file or photo that you need to upload to the site. Right-click on the document and select "Download". This will provide you with a file that can be temporarily be placed on your Chromebook (or saved on your computer) and then uploaded to the site that you are using.
