Meet Ms. Wilkerson

My name is CJ Wilkerson and I will be your band teacher this year! This is my 9th year teaching music to middle and high school students!

I was born and raised right here in Clarke County, VA! I am a product of Berryville Primary School, D.G. Cooley Elementary School, Johnson-Williams Middle School and Clarke County High School. It has been amazing being able to teach along with some of the same teachers I've known since I was 10 years old!

After discovering and exploring my passion for music, I decided to attend Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. There, I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Music with a concentration in flute and a Bachelor of Science in Education focusing in Music Education.

Since graduating from WCU and beginning my teaching career back at my alma mater, I have kept myself busy by also being the Assistant Band Director for the Screamin' Eagles Marching Band and the Clarke County Indoor Drumline! When I'm not teaching or working with the high school bands, I enjoy reading, binging Netflix shows, and spending too much money at Target!
