Jazz Band 7 is a year-long course at Johnson-Williams. In Jazz 7, we focus on establishing the fundamental skills needed to perform jazz, blues, swing, latin, and rock music. Jazz Band 8 is a one-semester course that begins in the second semester of the school year. The goal of Jazz Band 8 is to build upon the skills we learned in Jazz 7.
