STUDENT MEAL SERVICE - LOCATIONS & DELIVERY INFORMATION

Beginning September 8, meal distribution days will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday via the following methods:

• Delivery via bus routes between 11:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m.

• Curbside pickup at multiple schools (10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) at the following schools:

              2. Hilsman Middle School - 870 Gaines School Road

              3. Whitehead Road Elementary School - 555 Quailwood Dr

• To help the School Nutrition and Transportation teams plan for food delivery, please complete a survey (ENG) for each child enrolled in CCSD. Parents can change their selection at any time. The nutrition and transportation teams will continually modify operations.

Bus Routes

• A student's meals won't be delivered to their house -- buses will run specific routes.

• Apartment complexes and public housing will be a school bus stop delivery with social distancing protocol enforced.

• The Transportation Department is finalizing bus routes and they will be posted as soon as possible. In the meantime, please call 706-548-6971 and the staff will tell you where when/where a bus will make a stop.

Service Guidelines

To ensure the safety of all our students, we request the following guidelines be followed:

1. At this time, adult meals are not available for purchase.

2. Students must take the entire meal – choices will not be provided.

3. Follow the directions of the meal service monitor. Be patient as a line may develop, but we will serve students in a timely and safe fashion.

4. Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

5. Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

6. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

7. Cough or sneeze into an elbow or use a tissue and place immediately in the trash.
