Enrichment Opportunities

Schoolwide Enrichment: The application of gifted education instructional practices in order to develop talents in all children, provide a broad range of enrichment experiences for all students, and to provide advanced follow-up opportunities for students based on their interests and strengths.

We provide all our students with an amazing array of enrichment opportunities to expose them to learning experiences outside of the regular state curriculum. Some of these include: fine arts programming, environmental education including classroom gardens, health, technology, career education and service learning. Throughout the year students are exposed to visiting authors, artists, scientists and community speakers.

Students participate in simulation activities, such as our 4th grade Revolutionary War Wax Museum and 5th grade Immigration Simulation. Students have opportunities for experiential learning on various field trips provided throughout the year, as well as through our after school program.
