In the 3rd year of the Bluegrass Cardinal Classic we have grown from 45 to 56 teams.  None of this could be possible without the support of KHSAA and KABC who are significantly involved in organizing and ensuring that this classic continues to grow and be a great success for girls basketball in the state of Kentucky.  This time is allotted to give high schools teams and players exposure to college coaches.  Having high school teams and players from Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, and West Virginia at providing 4 locations, in 5 gyms with games starting at 10 am to 9 pm.  All while having   exposure to college coaches in all gym locations. We are hoping that each year we can allow more teams from other states to travel here and show their talents and continue to grow events.
