Game Rules
Clock
1. Games will be two (2) 20-minute halves with a continuous running clock. 2. Halftime will be 5-minutes in length.
3. The clock will stop on dead balls (including free throw situations) the last minute of each half and during timeouts.
4. Each team gets two (2) 1-minute timeouts and one (1) 30-second timeout per game.
5. There will be a 5-minute warm up for teams after each game has ended. 6. Substitutions will occur on
dead balls but the clock will continue to run unless during the last minute of each half.
Fouls
7. Scorer’s table will keep track of team fouls. After the 10th team foul of each half, the offensive team gets the opportunity to make 1 free throw for 2 points. 8. Players will not be disqualified from the game for fouls.
9. If a player is fouled in the act of attempting a 2-point shot and the ball does not go in, the offensive team gets the opportunity to make 1 free throw for 2 points. 10.If a player is fouled while attempting a 2-point shot and the basket is good, the offensive team is awarded 3 points.
11. If a player is fouled while attempting a 3-point shot and the ball does not go in, the offensive team gets the opportunity to make 1 free throw for 3 points. 12.If a player is fouled while attempting a 3-point shot and the basket is good, the offensive team is awarded 4 points.
13. A technical foul will result in the opposing team getting the opportunity to make 1 free throw for 2 points.
Score
14. In case of a tie in regulation, a sudden death overtime will take place. Play will begin with a jump ball at half court. The first team to score (free throw or made field goal) wins the game. On any foul in overtime, the offensive team gets the opportunity to make 1 free throw for 2 points.
