Administrative & Office Staff

 Principal

Megan has taught in Clark County Schools for the past 16 years. She started her career at Clark Middle, which became Baker Intermediate, and then went on to the Phoenix Academy.  This is her 5th year as an administrator at Conkwright Elementary

She enjoys reading, sports, teaching TRX, singing on her church’s worship team, and spending time with her family and friends.

Assistant Principal

Ada has been in education for 20 years. She has taught both primary and intermediate grades. This is her 2nd year as an administrator.  

She enjoys reading, baking, spending time with her family, and traveling. 


School Counselor

Kari has a Master’s in Education and a Rank 1 in Counseling. She spent six years as a Children’s Mental Health Counselor and Case Manager and has been an Elementary School Counselor for 12 years. Ms. McGrath is the recipient of the 2022 Counselor of the Year by the Kentucky School Counselor Association. 

She enjoys hiking, walking and having fun with her sweet dogs.  She also enjoys fashion and spending time with her family and friends. 

School Nurse

Kim has been a Registered Nurse for the past 9 years. She enjoys watching movies and reading.

Attendance Clerk

Amanda is going into her 9th year as an Attendance Clerk.

She enjoys going to the beach and just relaxing.

FRC

Michelle has been working in education for the past twenty-eight years. Twenty-five years have been in Clark County (Four at Clark-Bourbon Day Treatment, Thirteen as Hannah McClure FRC and beginning ninth year at Conkwright). 

Michelle enjoys watching my son play football and reading a good book.

Administrative Assistant
& Bookeeper

This is Jessica's 20th year working for Clark County Schools. 

She enjoys camping with family and going to the lake. Jessica has two boys, Ryan and Wyatt.

Kindergarten

Tiffany earned her Bachelor’s in Science in Multidisciplinary Education and a Master’s Degree in Gifted and Talented Education.  She has served Clark County Schools as a Substitute Teacher while pursuing her undergraduate degree, and has been a teacher in Clark County since fall of 2004.  She began her career at Fannie Bush Elementary School, and transitioned to Justice. She has been at Conkwright since it reopened as an elementary school.  She has taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades.

She enjoys reading, painting, crafts, and scrapbooking.

Mrs. Kaskey is excited to be starting her fifth year of teaching and her third year in kindergarten. She and her husband have been married for almost 3 years and have two precious foster sons. Mrs. Kaskey’s favorite places to be are with family or snuggled up with coffee and a good book.

 A fun fact about Mrs. Kaskey is that she is from Winchester and attended middle school at Conkwright. Mrs. Kaskey says, “it feels super cool to be coming home!” 

This is Rachel's third year as a kindergarten teacher at Conkwright Elementary. She completed her B.A. in Elementary Education at Midway University in 2022. Rachel and her husband, Jonathan, have lived in Clark County for 8 years. They have 2 children, Olivia and Case. 

Rachel loves to spend time with her family, swim, and enjoys the outdoors. She enjoys quiet porch time with a good cup of coffee. Rachel also enjoys farming, gardening, Motorsport events, and country music. 

Tobi has been a teacher for 23 years. 

She enjoys anything to do with Disney, fitness activities, and being outside. 

Angela has been teaching kindergarten in Clark County since 1998. She worked at Trapp Elementary from 1998 to 2014 and has been at Conkwright Elementary ever since.

She enjoys education, spending time with her family, hiking, reading, and traveling. 

1st Grade

Mrs Coleman is from Pikeville, Kentucky and recently graduated from the University of Pikeville. She is excited to begin her first year of teaching at Conkwright. She says, “I am so blessed to be teaching first grade for the upcoming school year. I’m super excited to meet my students. Go Colts!”

Larissa is from Olive Hill, Kentucky but currently lives in Winchester. She attended Morehead State University for her Bachelor's degree in teaching and Masters degree in Teacher Leadership. She is currently enrolled at EKU. During her free time she loves to do crafts and spend time with her cat.

Miss Goldhahn is originally from Winchester, Kentucky and graduated from George Rogers Clark High School in 2018. She even attended Conkwright when it was a middle school! This will be her third year teaching first grade. Miss Goldhahn attended Northern Kentucky University and taught at a local school in Northern Kentucky. During her free time she loves to read, hike, and watch movies. She is also a proud cat mom to her little furry friend Mila.

Renee will be starting her 21st year of teaching first grade. 

 She enjoys hiking, going to the beach, binge watching Netflix, and going to the gym.

Roshal is starting her 5th year as a teacher here at Conkwright.  She taught briefly in Elizabeth, Indiana before moving to Kentucky. She has also worked as a long-term substitute teacher and an Instructional Assistant in Kindergarten at Conkwright.

She enjoys reading, traveling (especially loves amusement parks), going to Kentucky football games, and being active.

2nd Grade

After spending a year teaching first grade in Montgomery County, Lola is beyond excited to begin teaching second grade at Conkwright. This will be her second year as a Colt! Teaching has always been her passion, and she can't wait to see what this year has in store. 

She currently resides in Winchester her husband, Nathan, and their three fur-babies. When she's not teaching she loves spending time with her family and reading.

Ms. Boggs will be starting her teaching journey here at Conkwright Elementary. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. 

In her free time she likes to be with friends and family, play sports, or travel. Ms. Boggs says, “I’m super excited to join the Colts family.”

Mrs. Crawford has been teaching for 13 years. She and her husband have a beautiful daughter named Amelia. In her free time, Mrs. Crawford enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her lovable rescue dogs, Ellie and Sammy. 

Mrs. Crawford says, “I am excited to embark on a new journey as a second-grade teacher at Conkwright and I look forward to an amazing school year!” 

Becky has taught in Clark County for her whole teaching career which is 20 years. She has taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades. She is so excited to teach 2nd graders this year. She has been married to her sweet husband, Mike, for 30 years and has two amazing children who also work at Conkwright. 

She loves reading, spending time with family and her four dogs, as well as playing piano. 

Olivia has been teaching 7 years

She enjoys being outdoors with her dog Chimi, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends.


Amanda graduated from Berea College in 2008 with a Bachelor's  degree in Elementary Education. In 2018 she received her Masters degree for Interdisciplinary Elementary Education. She taught 3 years in Montgomery County, and the past 5 years has taught 3rd and 1st grades at Christian Traditional School in Mt. Sterling. This will be her 4th year in second grade at Conkwright.


Amanda enjoys gardening, crafting, and watching the UK Wildcats!

3rd Grade

Beth has been teaching for the past 18 years as a teacher in third, fourth, and fifth grade. 

She enjoys kayaking, reading, and traveling. 

Dr. Korson was an Air Force child and wife spending the first 36 years of her life traveling the world. She has been in education for over 20 years—teaching everything from preschool to graduate courses. Dr. Korson has her Bachelors in Elementary Education and Masters in Literacy Education from the University of Central Missouri. She earned a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Language and Literacy from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. After time as a university professor and district level employee, Dr. Korson is excited to return to her teaching roots as a third-grade teacher at Conkwright. During her free time she loves to read, run, and travel.

Katie has been teaching for seven years, with five years in Preschool. She taught 2 years in Mason County and 3 years in Clark County at Clark County Preschool. Katie graduated from Morehead State with her Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education and graduated from the University of the Cumberlands with her Masters in Elementary Education. 


She enjoys traveling, working out, spending time with family/friends, reading, and doing anything outside.



Allyson is entering her 3rd year as a teacher at Conkwright. She has a Bachelors in Theatre Arts from the University of Kentucky, and a Masters of Teaching in Elementary Education from the University of the Cumberlands. 


She was formerly Ms. Smith, but just got married this summer! She is an avid reader and singer, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Chelsea Sanders

Chelsea earned her Bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University. This will be her 4th year of teaching. 

She enjoys working out, traveling, being outdoors, and reading. 

4th Grade

Calyn was born and raised in Bourbon County. She is the mother to two beautiful girls, Della and Ellie. This upcoming school year will be her 5th year of teaching and 2nd year at Conkwright. She has previously taught 3rd and 4th grade levels at North Middletown Elementary. 

Miss Johns is from Nicholasville, KY. She graduated from EKU in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. This upcoming year will be her 4th year of teaching.

 In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family,  and enjoys traveling.

Mrs. Muff will be entering her third year of teaching at Conkwright. She earned her degree from EKU and has teaching experience in both 4th and 5th grade classrooms. Mrs. Muff and her husband Deverin have 2 boys named August and AJ. During her free time, she is very involved in her church and she runs an art business where she paints murals and commissioned portraits. She also likes to sing, play piano, and the ukulele. Additionally, she likes to workout, hike, kayak, and play with her pup, Soka. 

A fun fact about Mrs. Muff is she is a huge Star Wars fan! She is so excited to be teaching 4th grade at Conkwright! 

Melissa is beginning her 20th year of teaching. She has taught all grade levels Kindergarten through Fourth Grade. She has a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Georgetown College.

She enjoys shopping, reading, spending time outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Related Arts

John has been teaching for 17 years. 

He enjoys drawing, reading, and scuba diving.

This is Krista’s 4th year. She did her student teaching at Strode Station and Robert D. Campbell Jr. High. 

She would love to purchase a classroom set of Ukuleles in the future. 

She enjoys teaching with Pop Culture. She loves anything Disney, Superheroes, and Star Wars.

This is Kristin's 9th year in education. She has previously taught middle and high school art and Spanish. This is her third year as the librarian at Conkwright Elementary. 

She enjoys reading, cooking, and crafting.

Mr. Webb was born and raised in Winchester. He graduated college from the University of Kentucky and has taught Elementary Physical Education for 5 years. 

Mr. Webb says, “I’m passionate about empowering people through movement and I love taking on new challenges.” 

Audre is a native of Clark County. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Morehead State in 2021.


She enjoys listening to good music, being crafty, and making people laugh. Go Colts! 

Special Education

Amanda has been teaching the past 15 years as a Special Education Teacher.  She is dual certified with a Master’s Degree and Rank 1 in School Counseling.

She enjoys four wheeling with her kids and spending time with her family.

Lauren went to the University of Kentucky where she completed her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. This will be her 6th year at Conkwright. 

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being mommy, traveling, hiking, and decorating.

Jennifer will be starting her 16th year as an LBD teacher and she has worked for Clark County Public Schools for 19 years.

She enjoys going to church, walking, yoga, reading, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Jasamyn has spent the last 8 years as an Elementary Education Learning and Behavior Disorder Teacher as well as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired. 

She enjoys gardening, reading, and scuba diving.

Emily has worked as a Para-educator for students with moderate and severe disabilities in both Madison and Fayette counties.  This will be her 5th year at Conkwright Elementary!

She enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time with family, theatre and music.

Marty has been teaching for the past 20 years in Clark County.

He enjoys hunting, farming, and going to the gym.

Mrs. Gifford has worked in special education in Clark County since 2006.  She has been married for 30 years this coming August. Mrs. Gifford has 2 adult children and 3 grandchildren with baby number 4 expected in July. 

 In her free time she enjoys baking and roller skating.

Kelsey graduated from Midway University  with a Bachelor's in P-5 Elementary Education, Specialization in LBD, and a minor in English. 

She loves spending time with her pets, going on adventures, reading, and being creative.


Chelsea Morgan-Ritchie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Morehead University with a degree in Sociology and a certification in Cultural Competency. 

She and her husband of 15 years enjoy spending time with their four daughters, reading books, and hiking!

Lindsey has a bachelor’s degree in LBD K-12 and Elementary Education. She is earning a graduate degree in Teacher Leadership, currently. She has taught the past 8 years at Conkwright Elementary.

She enjoys crafting, baking, and being with family.

Miss Royalty has been a Special Education teacher for 8 years. When she’s not at school, she loves to go to the park with her dog Apollo or just hangout with friends. 

Miss Royalty says, “I believe in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and motivated to succeed. I can’t wait to join the Conkwright team this upcoming school year.” 

Faith recently graduated with her bachelors from the University of the Cumberlands. She is currently earning her Masters in Teaching also from UC. She lives Mt. Sterling, KY with her husband and this will be her first full year at Conkwright.

She enjoys crafting, antique shopping and traveling to new places.

Kelsie attended the University of Kentucky for her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She graduated in 2019 with her Master's Degree to become a Speech-Language Pathologist. She has practiced at the University of Kentucky Pediatric Outpatient Clinic for the past 4 years. She lives in Winchester with her husband. 

She enjoys spending time with family and friends, hanging out with her dog, traveling, and cheering on the UK Wildcats.

Instructional Assistants

Mrs. Allen lives in Clark County with her husband of 33 years. Together the couple has a son, a daughter, and 4 beautiful granddaughters. 

Mrs. Allen says, “I attended Conkwright, both my children did, and now my granddaughters are Colts. So that’s three generations at Conkwright. I am excited to be a part of the kindergarten team.” 

Crystal enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She likes to shop for antiques and is a HGTV fan. She is excited to be a part of the Conkwright team.

Renee started her career in 1st grade at Trapp Elementary. She then went to Calvary Christian School where she helped to start their 2’s program. She has spent the last eleven years as a preschool teacher.

She enjoys making jewelry, cooking, doing outdoor activities. She also enjoys visiting small towns, finding unique places, and loves learning about history.

Deana has been a Special Education Instructional Assistant for 14 years.

Her hobbies are camping, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Kelly has worked with Clark County Schools for 14 years. She is very proud to continue her journey as a Conkwright Colt!

Kelly has been married to my husband, Chris, for 24 years,  and has three children and one grandson. She has four fur babies that are very spoiled. Kelly loves spending time with family and friends.  

Savannah has worked for Clark County schools for 6 years. She’s a mom of a one year old little boy. When she’s not working she enjoys spending time with her son, husband, and being outdoors. 

Mrs. Centers says, “I am so excited to be here at Conkwright!”

Mrs. Christopher has lived in Winchester for 20 years. She has been married for 22 years and has two girls ages 21 and 16. She was a 3 year old preschool teacher for 12 years at Calvary Christian School before joining Conkwright on this new adventure in kindergarten. 

Mrs. Christopher says, “I’m excited to love on the kids and build relationships with them.”

Sharon has been at Conkwright for the past 5 years working with Mrs. Taulbee. 

She enjoys reading, playing word games, and spending time with her family.

Terri enjoys card making and is an avid reader. She is also a published author – Dozen of Short stories and essays published including – Chicken Soup for the Soul Books  Life Lessons for Busy Moms (2007), The Forgiveness Fix (2019), and The Magic of Dogs (2020). 


Jacob has been an instructional assistant in the Clark County School system since January 2018.

He enjoys reading and drawing, and he often walks around his neighborhood.

Kara has been married to her husband David for 32 years. She has 3 daughters, McKenna, Madison, and Chloe. She recently welcomed her first grandson Grant and loves watching him grow. 

Kara has been in education in many capacities for 28 years. She loves working with children to help further their learning and educational growth. 

This is Christa's 9th year with the Clark County School System, and 3rd year at Conkwright Elementary. She truly enjoys being able to be part of the amazing Colt Family.


She has two amazing boys, whom she loves and adores. And she enjoys spending time with family and friends. 

Special Services

Designated Substitute

Ciera has earned her Bachelor’s in Arts and Sciences for EKU.

She enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Therapy Dog

Sookie is a 6 year old Golden Retriever/Aussie Shepherd mix who has joined the COLT family as a certified and insured Therapy Dog. She completed her training with her handler, Ms. McGrath through Pawsabilty Unleashed, LLC in Frankfort, KY. Sookie also passed her AKC Canine Good Citizen requirements and tests, which allowed the team to move forward with Therapy Dog Training and Certification! 

Sookie has been a Conkwright COLT for 2 full years and was practicing for 1/2 year prior. She is the only full time School Therapy Dog within CCPS and we are so excited to have her! 

Reading Intervention

Emily has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Campbellsville University, a Masters in Elementary Education from Eastern KY University, a Continuing Education Option Rank I through EPSB, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Eastern KY University. This will be her 19th year in education.

She enjoys family time, hiking at Pilot Knob and the Red River Gorge, baking, working out, and reading.

Food Service


Betty is a cook at Conkwright Elementary School. She has worked for the Clark County School system for 4 years. First Year at George Roger Clark High School. 


She loves being with the Colt family. Her hobbies are gardening, canning and the love for my chickens. Her and husband Andy also have two spoiled dogs named Milo and Sissy. 

Sharon Caudill is the Food Service Manager at Conkwright Elementary School. My prior experiences was at George Roger Clark High School being the Assistant Food Service Manager for 3 years and Executive Chef for Marriott Hotels for 37 years. 

Outside of work, Sharon enjoys owning the Red River Boat Dock & Campground, being with her family and friends. She also enjoys watching the LA RAMS and KY Wildcats. 

Shannon is a cook at Conkwright Elementary School. She spent 7 years with Clark County as a Bus Driver. After a short break she came back to the school system in Food Service at Robert D. Cambell Jr. High as a cook for 3 years and is now a part of the Colt family. 

In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family, friends and playing with her two dogs. She also enjoys crafting and crocheting.  

Megan is the Assistant Manager in Food Service at Conkwright.

 She loves spending time with her husband Aaron, 2 girls Bella and Greenlee, and her 2 dogs Furiosa and Millie. 

Megan Loves being a COLT!


Naomi has been a cook at Conkwright Elementary School for 5 years. 


She has been married to her husband Kenneth for 49 years. 

She loves all crafting and her speciality is Christmas. 

She loves to decorate her house and has even won awards for decorating houses at Christmas time! 


Bonnie is a cook at Conkwright Elementary School This is her first year as a Colt. 


She stays busy with her 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandsons. 

Her hobbies are reading and crafts.  


Stephanie has been a cook at Conkwright Elementary School for 4 years as part of the Food Service Team. She is so glad to be part of the Colt family. 


She loves the outdoors and spending time with her family. She and her husband David have been married for 10 years, and have

two kids - Savannah, 8 and Drake, 6   

Facilities

Heather is our lead custodian. She has been cleaning residential and commercial properties since she was 16. 

She has a teenage son, loves the outdoors, and enjoys cleaning. 

Mr. Haney is happily married to his highschool sweetheart and is a dad of 2 kids, a 4 year old boy and an 11 year old girl. Mr. Haney considers himself a big family man and loves being outdoors. 


He says, “I’m ready to start my new journey as a part of the Colts family!”

Mr. Wilson is a Winchester native married to his highschool sweetheart, Lori for 22 years. He has a daughter who is 16 and a 15 year old son. Mr. Wilson loves dogs and has 2 German Shepherds, a Husky Shepherd mix, and a Golden Doodle. 


He says, "I am super excited to join the Conkwright family and get to know everyone."
