About the Creators

Hello, my name is Tobi Sunderman, and I am a senior at Clarinda High School.  My journey with FCCLA the past 3 years has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. From the moment I joined I was drawn to the mission of promoting personal growth and leadership within this organization. FCCLA has not only taught me essential life skills and put me in various leadership roles but has provided me with a platform to positively impact my community and give back. The support from my advisors, peers and community has helped me strive and grow as a person. This organization helped me not only grow as a leader but as an individual ready to take on the future.

Hello, my name is Allie Harris, I am a junior at Clarinda High School. I started FCCLA last year not really knowing what it was or the impact it would have on me. Beyond the experiences and skills, FCCLA has impacted my personal growth. My confidence and leadership skills have grown over the past year. I have experienced challenges and achievements through FCCLA, and as a result I have seen growth within myself. The support from advisors and peers is my constant source of motivation which helps me strive for excellence. This organization has taught me a lot of my day-to-day skills and has helped me grow as an individual.
