Each month Clarinda FCCLA meets to discuss upcoming events, competitive events, community service and fundraising opportunities for the month as well as socialize and build friendships.

• October 8th, 2024 - FCCLA Chapter Meeting (Dues+ T-Shirt Dues)

• November 12th, 2024- FCCLA Chapter Meeting

• January 14th, 2025- FCCLA Chapter Meeting 

• March 11th, 2025- FCCLA Chapter Meeting

• April 8th, 2025 - FCCL Chapter Meeting (Senior Awards/ New Officer transition)

• May 13th, 2025- FCCLA Chapter Meeting 

• June/July 2025- FCCLA Officer Planning Meeting

  *FCCLA will have monthly meetings every 2nd Tuesday of each month except August and February

Community Service 

A yearly goal for the Clarinda FCCLA chapter is to complete a community service project each month during the school year. The following is a list of our community service outreach projects for the 2024-2025 school year. 

• September 3rd, 2024 - Blood Drive (Partnered with FFA)

• September 27th, 2024 - Homecoming Tailgate 

• October 19th, 2024 - Highway Clean-Up

• October 21st, 2024- Community Trick or Treat Event

• November 10th, 2024- Canned Food Drive (Partnered with FFA)

• December 14th, 2024 - Christmas Wrapping Event

• January 18th, 2025 - Animal Shelter Donation Drive

• January 30th, 2025- Safety Seatbelt Check & Winter Necessities drawing 

• February 15th, 2025- Pies for Eiler Place (Care Center)

• March 1st - 20th, 2025 - Canned Food Drive (Clarinda Food Pantry)

• April 15th, 2025 - Highway Pick-up

Events

Clarinda FCCLA plans events that support our school, community and chapter. These events vary from fundraisers, FCCLA STAR event competition, conferences, and promoting FCCLA within our school.
