Sixth and Seventh grade science class overview

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Sixth Grade Science is an integrated course that focuses on the SEP: Scientific and Engineering Practices, Earth Science, Physical Science, and Life Science. Students will investigate and explore objectives outlined in the 2014 South Carolina Academic Standards and Performance Indicators for Science. This will be accomplished through a combination of learning methods such as hands-on activities/labs, cooperative learning groups, discussions, Interactive science notebook-ISN, problem solving, projects, and group and individual practice.
