This course provides a foundation of three-dimensional design and drawing. Basic techniques are presented to encourage personal creativity and a successful beginning artistic experience using a variety of materials and processes. This course also prepares students for developing their own artistic styles for further advanced courses. Craftsmanship will be stressed and students will display their work in school, local and/or state exhibits. This course is available for every student who has an interest in the visual arts and has completed the Art 1 course or a similar course at another high school.
