The Chromebook is designed to only work when connected to Wifi.
Internet access is becoming increasingly important for K-12 education as a way for students to access information and for teachers and families to communicate. Two Internet providers, Comcast and CenturyLink, have programs to obtain free or low-cost Internet access for your home. Each program offers access for families with students who meet certain qualifications such as free or reduced lunch.
