Learning Targets for the CBB Fractions Online Module:

Participants will:

  1. know how procedures for fraction operations are built from conceptual understanding.

  2. effectively use various models for developing fraction sense and an understanding of operations of fractions.

  3. explore the progression of content standards for fractions.

  4. have a clearer idea of how to connect the Standards for Mathematical Practice, Mathematics Teaching Practices, and High Leverage Practices for Special Education to work with fractions.

  5. identify and address common misconceptions about work with fractions.
