Counseling Mission Statement

The school counseling program at Ruth O. Harris Middle School advocates for all students by providing a comprehensive and data-driven counseling program where academic, career readiness and social-emotional needs are being met to create well rounded students.  We empower students by providing enriching opportunities for them to develop self-advocacy, critical thinking, and personal growth skills.  Through an inclusive environment and our partnerships and collaboration with students, families, and the diverse community, we provide our students with a safe and positive school environment for them to be successful.
