WEDNESDAY SCHEDULE:

In the morning,

-Study Visit to “Venus” peach orchard and Cooperative Canning Company.Students will be informed about the range of activities and visit different sections of the settlement. They will also be informed about the economic impact and ecological footprint of peach production in Veria”.Issues about irrigation/pesticides/peach waste management/food miles/overproduction will also be raised.

In the noon,

-Visit toVergina.

Here we make our own “trahana”( a grain/milk product) and visit The Royaltombs of Aigai, We cook “trahana” soup, taste a local cheese pie feta cheese olive oils and Greek Mountain tea.
