Screen Recording on your Macbook
Ben Q
By default, the board will automatically log out after 30 minutes of being idle.
To change that, you must log into your AMS account and turn that setting off:
Click "Edit" next to Idle Session Logout.
It is recommended to have it log off after 2 hours.
Click Apply.
You can return to those settings to edit them at any time.

Before cleaning:
Power off and unplug the display.
Let it cool before wiping.
Screen cleaning:
Use a dry microfiber cloth to remove dust.
For smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with 70% isopropyl alcohol (never spray directly).
Wipe gently in straight lines, not circles.
Let it dry before powering back on.
What to avoid:
No paper towels, tissues, or rough cloths.
No harsh chemicals (ammonia, bleach, strong solvents).
Don't press hard or let liquid seep into edges.
Other care:
Dust vents and ports gently with canned air or soft brush.
Keep area around display clean and well-ventilated.
Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
Frequency:
Suggested light wipe weekly.
Deeper clean as needed.

Substitutes will log into the board using Guest mode to do Option #1 below. Or follow Option #2 to mirror the teacher laptop or Chromebook.
Option #1: If the teacher gave the substitute instructions to share with students via a Google Doc/Slide, the Substitute will open the Chrome app from the home screen of the BenQ board, sign into their account, and type the URL for the Doc/Slide into the browser. Or if it was shared with the sub, he/she can open the Drive app to access the file rather than opening Chrome.
Option #2: If laptop is not available, the CTA can issue a Chromebook to the sub for the day. The sub can plug in the HDMI cord on the teacher's desk to their Chromebook in order to display the "Teacher PC" on the board. See Steps 3 and 4 on the BenQ One-Pager Quick Guide to learn how to project the Chromebook and to switch sources.
